Center for German and European Studies
Events support CGES' mission of supporting interdisciplinary teaching and research on contemporary Germany and Europe at Brandeis, with a strong transatlantic perspective. Events have reflected on different aspects of the current health and climate crises, and speakers recently discussed race relations and the role of race in history, society, and art. Past events include German and international politics, Holocaust education, journalism, and more.

The events offered through HBI seek to view all things Jewish through the lens of gender. HBI hosts a range of programs with scholars, authors, and artists that view liturgy, Jewish text, history, traditions, Jewish law, and more, with a nuanced approach to women and gender studies.

International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life
The International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life holds events in three program areas: international justice, peacebuilding and the arts, and ENACT: The Educational Network for Active Civic Transformation. They host two prizes on behalf of the Office of the President (the Gittler Prize and Richman Fellowship). Schusterman Center for Israel Studies
The Schusterman Center for Israel Studies presents a diverse range of live, online events aimed at the general public, including lectures and panel discussions featuring world-class artists, authors, public intellectuals and leading scholars. They have also recently opened their Schusterman Seminars to the public for the first time. These are advanced seminars geared toward faculty and graduate students, and open to all, presenting the latest research in Israel Studies.
