The library provides access to two databases of funding opportunities: Pivot and Foundation Directory Online Professional. After you set up a profile in Pivot, you can create database alerts and access video tutorials and helpful documentation to make the most of these subscriptions.

Calendar of Key Foundation RFPs

A regularly updated list of recurrent grant opportunities, primarily in the natural and social sciences, including major limited-submission opportunities requiring institutional nomination. Includes information on deadlines, eligibility, grant amounts and websites.

Duke University Funding Opportunities

This is a comprehensive online database (not available for download) of government and non-government funding opportunities in all fields, searchable by discipline, eligibility, funding types, deadline and keyword maintained by Duke University.

Johns Hopkins University Funding Opportunities

This is a continuously updated repository of well over 500 federal and private funding opportunities that are intended for late postdoctoral investigators and early-career faculty, usually those at or below the rank of assistant professor. The database is maintained by Johns Hopkins University and available as a fully-searchable Excel sheet download.

Sabbatical Funding and Fellowship for All Disciplines

A comprehensive list of sabbatical grant opportunities, both domestic and international.

UCLA Graduate Education Funding Database

This searchable database includes over 600 scholarships, grants and fellowships for graduate students and postdocs, maintained by UCLA.

University of Rochester Arts, Sciences and Engineering Fellowships/Awards Database

This is a comprehensive, searchable, filterable and updated list of opportunities in all disciplines, particularly strong in non-federal opportunities and good for humanities and social sciences maintained by University of Rochester.

University of California, Berkeley, Funding Opportunities

This regularly updated, non-searchable site from the Berkeley Sponsored Programs Office includes both government and private funding opportunities in all fields and classifies them usefully: travel grants, equipment grants, grants for new and young faculty, Postdoc grants, etc.
