Brandeis Alumni, Family and Friends
Alumni in Jewish Communal Service Network
Hornstein alumni gathered for a special dinner in May 2025.
The Alumni in Jewish Communal Service Network strives to unite Brandeis alumni who work in Jewish
organizations by building community, creating connections among each other and with current
students, and fostering opportunities to collaborate in meaningful ways. This network is open to all who work in or are interested in service for organizations in the Jewish community.
This is a new shared identity group that we’re building from the ground up, and we want to
hear from you. To get involved with our alumni planning committee, please fill out this form. For questions, contact Molly Shuman, GSAS MA’23, MBA’23 at mrshuman@me.com.
We invite you to get involved by:
- Signing up for the Alumni in Jewish Communal Service email list
- Attending events and networking opportunities for Brandeis alumni
- Building connections with fellow alumni and expanding your network on the B Connect networking hub

Meet Our Leadership Team
Favorite Brandeis Professor: Brenda Anderson, Accounting or Meredith Lewis, Capstone
Favorite Place on Campus: The lawn outside Lown, mostly because it was where we spent all of our outside time
Favorite Brandeis Memory: Having a dance party during community time
I volunteer because I want to help more Jewish professionals have access to resources and connections, and I believe in the power of the Jewish community.
