Protect Your Trip
The Brandeis Travelers program provides you with a choice of individual travel insurance plans to meet your needs and budget. The plans cover:
- Trip cancellations or interruptions
- Trip delays
- Medical expenses, including emergency medical evacuation
- Delayed, lost, or stolen baggage
- Accidental death and dismemberment
- Cancel for Work reasons (some plans)
- Cancel for Any Reason (some plans)
Please note that insurance must be purchased within 15 or 21 days from the date of the enclosed letter to be eligible for the Cancel for Any Reason benefits included in some plans and coverage for cancellations due to pre-existing health conditions, depending on provider chosen.
When to Purchase Insurance
For a variety of reasons, it is prudent to purchase travel insurance when you first book your trip. Why? Most travel insurance policies contain one or more time-sensitive provisions that broaden coverage. These provisions apply to several coverage enhancements, such as the Cancel for Any Reason benefit and the pre-existing condition waiver.

Purchasing coverage is easy. Enroll online or by calling Meyer and Associates at 866-679-7836.
These products are available to all trip participants, regardless of whether or not they are Brandeis graduates.
