At Brandeis' inaugural Alumni Weekend, Alumni Achievement Award winner Tony Goldwyn '82 spoke with University Professor Anita Hill on activism in Hollywood, including the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, in a conversation on stage at Spingold Theater.

"I don't know where it's going to head next, but I think we now have a group of young people who have come up through years of seeing this in places like their college campuses," said Hill. "And I think we might have another generation like we had in the 60s of young people continuing to be active and engaged and doing work around social justice. If nothing else comes out of this, I think we should all be grateful to have that kind of energy, that kind of commitment, not only to issues we care about, but to democracy itself and using free expression."
