Together with the Hiatt Career Center, the Alumni Association has launched the new Brandeis Career Advisory Network on B Connect, where alumni at all stages of their careers can tap invaluable resources. Alumni willing to serve as career advisors to fellow alumni and current students are needed. Alumni advisors help their alma mater while significantly expanding their own professional networks at the same time. ...read more
The Alumni Club of Greater Boston's Recent Graduates Network held its 8th annual summer Happy Hour at Tia's on the Waterfront on August 26. At the meeting of the Board of Trustees last month, Chairman Malcolm Sherman announced the appointment of the Presidential Search Committee that will seek President Reinharz’s successor. He noted that the search committee would proceed carefully and deliberately, cognizant of the Brandeis values and mission that must be protected. Reinharz, 65, who has served as president of Brandeis University since 1994, announced Sept. 25 his intention to resign. The second-longest serving Brandeis president, he will continue in role until successor is named, up until June 30, 2011. ...read more
