Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts set for April 27-30

Art takes over the Brandeis campus from April 27-30 at this year’s Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts.

Dance, music, and theater will take place nightly. Artwork created especially for the festival will appear in public spaces. The campus welcomes guest artists from around the country, including Jennie C. Jones, this year's Nathan and Ruth Ann Perlmutter Artist-in-Residence. Alumni participants include Amy Merrill '69, Christian Gentry, PhD'12, and Cat Wagner '09.
This year, the theme is sustainability. You’ll see exhibitions and performances by artists who engage with ideas that contribute to a sustainable world, or use sustainable methods or materials. And thanks to the Brandeis Sustainability Fund, organizers have made significant changes to festival operations, such as using solar power and post-consumer waste paper whenever possible.
All events are free and open to the public. Families will especially enjoy Super Sunday, an afternoon of free short performances and activities from 12-5 p.m.
