Nancy Winship, P '10, P '13

Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Since Nancy Winship joined Brandeis as the University’s chief fundraiser in 1994, annual giving has quadrupled and gifts from alumni have grown six-fold. Her efforts have helped transform the campus and aided Brandeis’ ascent to elite status among American private research universities. As chief philanthropic adviser, she oversees the Institutional Advancement Division, including leadership giving, annual giving, planned giving, corporations and foundations, alumni relations, donor relations advancement communications and advancement services. In January 2014, she won the prestigious Quarter Century Circle Award for distinguished professional achievement from District I of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Nancy has also worked in senior fundraising positions at Combined Jewish Philanthropies in Boston and Northwestern University. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts and has completed the coursework for a PhD from Harvard University.
