Transcript of "Register for Alumni Weekend 2021!"

Hi! I'm Lewis Brooks, Class of '80 and president of the Brandeis Alumni Association.

Alumni Weekend registration is now open, and I hope to see you all online in June!

Some things will be the same about this year’s Alumni Weekend, like having fun with classmates and old friends, reconnecting with Brandeis, and getting inspired by fellow alumni and faculty.

So what will be different? Doing it all from the comfort of your own home! You can drop by while soaking in the sun, working out, playing with your dog, going for a walk, making lunch.

We get it. Zoom fatigue is real, so pick your favorite events. There will be great ones throughout the weekend like virtual reunions for classes and shared interest groups, a university update from the president, the presentation of the 2021 Alumni Achievement Awards, family-friendly programs, such as trivia, art, and magic, a conversation between Michael Horowitz and Bob Woodward, a celebration of the Rose Art Museum’s 60th anniversary, a discussion with an Academy Award-winning alum, and much, much more!

I’ll miss seeing everyone in person, but it won’t be long before we can gather on campus again. For now, let’s return to Brandeis together from the comfort of our own homes. I can’t wait to see you – and your furry friends – in June!
