3:00-5:00 pm10th Annual Holiday Reception at The Rose Art Museum
This year’s annual holiday reception at The Rose Art Museum features a special guest: the Rose’s famed permanent collection. Come celebrate the season with fellow alumni and friends, and receive a guided tour of the Rose’s current exhibition, featuring works by some of the giants of modern and contemporary art. Refreshments will be served and student a cappella group Starving Artists will perform.
The Rose at Brandeis: Works from the Collection
The holdings of The Rose Art Museum consist of more than 7,000 artworks, most of which have been largely unseen by visitors over the years. The collection includes works by Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Morris Louis, Andy Warhol, and many more well-known artists. This year's special exhibit not only highlights many of those extraordinary pieces, but also celebrates the publication of The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis, the first comprehensive catalog of the collection.
More information about the exhibitions can be found online at www.brandeis.edu/rose.
Founded in 1961, The Rose Art Museum of Brandeis University is an educational and cultural institution dedicated to collecting, preserving and exhibiting the finest of modern and contemporary art. The programs of the Rose reflect the mission of Brandeis, embracing its values of academic excellence, social justice, and freedom of expression.

Performing Arts NetworkIn the Heights
In the Heights, winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical, is a sensational new show about chasing your dreams and finding your true home.
With an amazing cast, incredible Tony Award-winning dancing and a thrilling Tony Award-winning score, In the Heights is an exhilarating journey into a vibrant Manhattan community - a place where the coffee is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you and which ones you leave behind.
In the Heights has a special Brandeis connection - Robyn Goodman '69 is one of the show's producers.
