To commemorate what would have been the legendary composer, conductor and Brandeis faculty member's 100th birthday, this year's event on April 15-22 will honor Bernstein's memory with special programming devoted to his legacy.

Shrage, who for the past 30 years served with distinction as president of Combined Jewish Philanthropies, will lead a new initiative at the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program.
"1948: Seeking Social Justice – American Jews and the Quest for Equality and Civil Rights" will be held April 18, featuring a roundtable discussion reflecting on the University in the context of the postwar history of the American Jewish community.
